We are very proud to congratulate Sommer Isaacs on her graduation from Volunteer EMT School—all the more so since she represents a continuation of a great family tradition in the volunteer firefighting and rescue service. Sommer's father, Bobby, standing next to her in the picture above at her recent graduation ceremony, was chief of the Lucketts Volunteer Fire Company and continues as a very active member working to maintain our apparatus and building and taking a lead in the new Support Services Unit. Sommer's mother, Connie, was also a member of the Company.

Sommer, who is employed as a manager at Kohl's in Leesburg, is continuing her volunteer training this spring in Volunteer Fire School so she can run duty as a fully qualified firefighter alongside our career staff at Station 10.

To find out how you can become a volunteer firefighter or EMT, please visit our Volunteer! page. Training is free, and the satisfaction of serving you community is invaluable.
